Very good app, but we cant stop it. I think we must decide if we keep it on or not.

Works perfectly. For those that dont want it to run after its installed, simply turn off Location Services under Settings (if you turn it off for too long, though, someone trying to track you will figure it out).

In order for it to be an EXCELLENT app, it should allow people to whom you have ALREADY given permission to follow your every move, to see you from the web browser WITHOUT having to ping you!!

App is crap dont bother

I purchased app was great for limited time then no way to access on either iPhones. Also app not accurate with location.

Recently my husband was in a severe car crash in the middle of the highway. He called me confused and unable to know how badly he was hurt. After getting him on with 911 I was able to find him on family tracker and make sure he received proper care. I dont care what all those other reviews said, weve been using this app since June and now I appreciate it even more!!!

My phone has been having glitches, getting increasingly slower and even malfunctioning. I took it to the Apple store and I was specifically told that Family Tracker does not stop running in the background even if you close it and it appears to not be running in the background. This causes a pile up affect in the phones memory and will mess your phone up! I had to reset my phone back to scratch just to fix this issue!! Im very upset.

This program tracks people as stated, but it has an enormous battery drain problem... Like 1% every five-ten minutes. Their website says that when the program is set on "driving only" that it will only lose 3% every several hours. I emailed support more than 10 days ago at the address listed on the app page, and Ive heard nothing back. They shouldnt say on their app page that they reply to "everybody" if they dont do it. I want my money back for this expensive but useless app!

This works fine between my wifes iPhone and my own, but what make it special is the built-in ability to send a link to someone who doesnt have the app (or even an iPhone) so they can see where you are. GPS apps in general chew up battery life but this app has some configuration options to help with that problem. Ive had this app for about 8 months and its been great so far.

With the latest iphone 4s and OS, and with most frequent update selected, with good 3g connectivity, and phones turned on 24/7, this app continually spews errors "Error getting location from core location", not once, but twice for each phone. When I say "Show iphone on map" it often plops me in the Indian Ocean. Phone locations are out of date by days, if not hours. "Tracking", therefore, is highly unreliable.

Is aweful! Dont waste your money!

Its a great app! Very well designed

The app works great although the update period without sending a ping notice takes too long. I have used it frequently with no problems at all. The ping notice is extremely fast and reliable. The support has been great so far, I asked for a link and immediately received it the very next day. I have not experienced any significant battery drain on my iPhone so far. Overall rating is very good except for automatic updating without ping notice.

Could not add anyone to track. Went through the process over and over with on luck. What a waste of money!!

Not always accurate. Never updates when you need it to. Besides, you can always turn it off in settings, so if u dont wanna be tracked, you wont be.

Does NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED. I did as asked and reported problems but they go unanswered and unresolved. Locations are often way off and it does not restart itself. In fact, it turns off for no apparent reason. Lastly, if you try to ping someone it does not send them a push notification. Even if they have the app on in the background. Its has potential if they ever get it to do what they claim it can do.

Bought it , doesnt work . Did report a problem ... No contact. Doesnt work with opt online email accounts and they dont care !

I dont know why this app has so many bad reviews, it has always worked well for me. The positions are sometimes late; ie @ 4pm I will check location and it will only tell me where he was at 2pm. I then ping for the update, but if the other person chooses not to allow, it will nit update position. The 5.0 upgrade is excellent, but still seems to have this problem.
