Family Tracker App Reviews

I have tried all the family trackers, I would rate this #2. Although it is supposed to be "running in the background," when i check my sons current position, the information is usually several hours to days old. Needless to say, I dont need to know where my son was yesterday. It helps that I can "ping" him fir an immediate location, but he can always say he had his phone off, didnt hear the ping, etc. I have found the app thats most reliable is life360

Didnt know my husband was cheating on me until I used this app! While I was working, he was working it. Tks FT for being so accurate!

The makers of this app should give a more realistic description of what this app does. For me, the gps ONLY worked when I would send an alert to the other person. Otherwise, the notification would tell me that the last update woul be from as much as 16 hours ago. What good is that information? If that person is busy or their phone is off and they dont receive the alert then its pointless. As well, the gps would show me the person was in a bayou or at the hospital! I swear Im not making this up. I actually had to call to make sure they were okay. On the customer service side, they were very prompt in responding to my concerns about the performance. I repeatedly checked all of my settings on our phones to make sure they were set correctly, but it never worked. In the end, this app is inaccurately described and a waste of money. Life 360 is free and reportedly works better, so Im switching to that.

Works really well! The email system was a little bit confusing, but over all it works really well!

This app cost me four dollars so I figured it would be legit. Its not. It does have its moments of accuracy. But most te time it is off by more than four blocks. Sometimes more. I do not recommend this app to anyone unless you have money to blow and dont care that it is faulty. I on the other dont have money growing on trees. My device tracks better with aroundme app. And that one is free. I installed this as a way to help save my damaged marriage. This only caused more damage. Thanks folks.

I cannot even get it to register my email address (and I tried two diff addresses just in case), so I cant try out the rest of the app. I must say, however, if it cannot complete this most basic task (which is also necessary for it to work correctly) I dont hold out much hope for the rest if the app. Sadly, I m deleting.

Waste of money!! Beware this app is worthless does not track at all. Difficult to get emails from the site which tells you the info... Dont waste your money

Only works for me if the app is open and active on all devices. The description is misleading.

Tried to submit to App support on site, but link is not active. Pd for Upgrade so I could see "trackees" location at a specific time, but when time is selected, the whole app closes! Otherwise, app works well.

Program wont give locations in Driving Mode automatically anymore. You have to ping the other user to find out where they are. Crashes randomly and now is buggy. Contacted support but no response going on 2 weeks.

Beware, when buy this app its only the beginning to a much bigger scam!! Buy the app and then they charge you a subscription fee--a very high fee. Dont buy, dont buy!!!! You have been warned!

Will not work properly with new iOS7. Great idea if it would work. Incorrectly showed my daughter at home for twelve hours today.

Disappointing in that it does not work as advertised. Everyone in the family not only has to have it installed but also have it running. It advertised "bread crumbs" - thats extra. Want details? Extra for that too.

Stealth pings are still not working on our 3 iPhone 5s in the house. I have yet to find an app that allows me to keep track of my family to make sure that theyre safe.

I downloaded this app and paid for a 6 month upgrade. The app did not update or give real time tracking. I attempted to contact customer service but my emails were "return to sender" I wish I didnt spend $10 on an app that does not do what it should.

I wasted my money on this app will not update. Get the find my iPhone app instead!!
